  I first bought a bike from Reid Cycles 5 years ago, it's a vintage ladies bike. I love it and ride it a few times per week. The staff at the shop are always great when i go in there. Yesterday i bought my son an X-trail mountain bike, we were served by a young man named Chris who was fantastic to deal with. My son loves his bike. I highly recommend Reid Cycles, first because their pricing is very attractive and the quality is great. Also the staff are very helpful there.

  I bought a Urban x3 about a month ago. I love this bike, it suits my needs for getting around the city and burbs perfectly. I have ridden it in all conditions to date and find it durable and reliable. The staff were friendly, knowledge and responsive to fitting a bike to my individual needs. I highly recommend this store and the team from Reid Cycles North Melbourne.

  Update: I've since been there twice and have received consistent good service. Moving my rating up from 3 to 5. Keep it up Reid!
  
  Fire and ice. You never know what you get. Sometimes they have the friendliest staff, sometimes the worse.

  I have bought 2 Reid's in the last 3 years, a ladies vintage and most recently, an Osprey. I purchased both bikes from the Melbourne store, the staff were always super helpful, friendly and patient. The guy explained things in a simple and easy to understand way, which was great as this is my first road bike! So excited to hit the road! Thanks guys!

  I bought my bike here, great bike and the woman working that day was really nice. BUT, went back for some upgrades and I live nearby so I thought I could just go there and pump my bike tires when flat. I had a lot of trouble with putting air in my tires, so I went to the shop. It was one of the worst shop experiences I’ve ever had. I’d broken my right hand not that long ago and sometimes it’s not as handy as it had been in the past (didn’t disclose this) I just asked if I could pay to have my tires pumped, thinking I would do this regularly and avoid the stress of always failing at it. Damn, that was a mistake. The service guy just left me with the pump and walked away, maybe muttered ‘good luck’, I was just on the ground struggling to figure it out while all the staff just ignored me, this one teenage staff came and helped but was loudly condescending about it. When I was done and said thanks, the entire staff at the counter ignored me. My tires are flat again and I’ve been avoiding going in for ages. I’ve never felt this way in a shop before, it really made me feel for all the folks that don’t know that much about bikes but wanna ride. These people are not kind. Anyway, I’ve gone on, 3 stars cause I love my flat tired bicycle.

  Bought a Griffon, within 6 months had to dump it. First a pedal broke, then the seat broke, then the crank broke. Even with all the right tools, I couldn't remove the broken crank as it was rusted on fast. I don't know if they didn't use grease when assembling it or something, but anyway it was a huge waste of money.
